Syncronika, from 2010 to 2026. What we have become and where we are heading
From Ferrara to Milan, from software house to a product ecosystem for European businesses: product, system integration, and the EU market. Syncronika's vision for the years ahead.

Syncronika was founded in 2010 in Ferrara. A software house back then: custom development, consulting, local clients. A context where you learn to solve real problems with real technology, without shortcuts.
Today we have been in Milan since 2015 and have operated remotely for more than ten years, with a distributed team. We serve clients from energy to retail, logistics to critical infrastructure. It is not what we imagined in 2010. It is something more precise.
This post is an attempt to put in writing where we are and, above all, where we are heading.
The transition we chose
For years Syncronika has been, and largely remains, a digital agency. Consulting, online presence, system integration, marketing on shared KPIs. Concrete work, alongside companies that need someone inside the processes, not just outside making recommendations.
That part does not disappear. But the strategic direction has changed.
In recent years we started building our own products. Not to diversify the portfolio, but because it is the only way to scale without scaling headcount linearly. A product solves the same problem for a thousand clients. Consulting solves it for one.
The direction is this: more product, more integration, more European market. It is the same thread we already described when talking about evolution beyond the classic agency; here we try to be even more explicit about what that means, operationally, in the years ahead.
The context we operate in
Three things are happening at once in the market we work in, and we see them up close every day.
Regulation. NIS2, GDPR, AI Act, DORA, EAA: these are not bureaucratic formalities. They are operational constraints every European company must manage. Those who do not structure themselves today accumulate regulatory debt they will pay tomorrow, in fines, audits, and reputation.
The cost of non-value work. Every company has people re-keying data by hand, answering the same questions in a loop, compiling reports that could compile themselves. That is intelligent time wasted on mechanical tasks. AI applied correctly removes exactly this friction.
The adoption gap. The AI models available today are extraordinary. Most Italian and European SMEs lack the structure to bring them into production: someone to install them, train them, integrate them with existing systems, and maintain them over time. That is the gap we intend to close.
What we have built
Syncronika remains the core: system integration, digital consulting, marketing and communication. Clients like Plenitude, Sebach, Caffitaly: companies we work with continuously, not project by project. The model is an operating partnership, not a vendor relationship. The manifesto and group structure describe method and holdings; here we focus on AgenVIO, Complyo, and LOCRAI.
In 2024 we completed the exit of Syncrogest, a cloud SaaS platform for technical support, reporting, and billing born internally. Before the acquisition we had scaled it to more than 400 companies and 3,000 active users across Italy and Switzerland. It is concrete proof that we know how to take software from concept to market, even outside the Syncronika perimeter.
AgenVIO is the answer to "how does a company actually bring AI agents into production?" Not demo chatbots. Omnichannel conversational agents (chat, WhatsApp, email, voice) integrated with CRM, helpdesk, and ERP. The model is a specialist team plus platform: we design, train, and maintain; the client governs and measures from the dashboard. SMEs do not need more AI. They need AI that works, that someone oversees, and that the internal team can understand and govern.
Complyo is our answer to compliance as both a technical and operational problem. A suite combining governance software (NIS2, ISO 27001, GDPR, MOG 231, workplace safety) with ongoing consulting and cyber security. Not an annual audit. A platform that tracks everything over time, with a team behind it that knows each client's context.
LOCRAI is the newest product: OCR plus AI for document extraction. Invoices, orders, delivery notes, quotes go in as files and come out as structured data ready for your ERP. Zero data entry. Infrastructure entirely in Europe, GDPR-native. For any company that still has someone re-keying documents by hand, LOCRAI is the immediate, measurable answer. We covered it in detail in the articles on document processing in production and accounts payable.
The thread that connects them
These are not four independent products sharing a logo. They are four answers to one problem: Italian and European businesses still operate with too much manual friction, too much regulatory exposure, and too little internal technology oversight.
Every component of the ecosystem strengthens the others. An AgenVIO agent handling customer support can automatically extract data from a document with LOCRAI. A Complyo platform monitoring cyber posture can trigger automated flows with AgenVIO. Integration is not a feature: it is the value.
European data sovereignty is not a marketing detail. It is a deliberate architectural choice. An Italian company's data should not cross datacenters outside the European Union. In a context of AI Act and GDPR, this is a real competitive advantage, not just a compliance requirement.
The road ahead
Three directions, without ambiguity.
Product. Keep building our own tools that scale independently of our production capacity. AgenVIO, Complyo, and LOCRAI are already in production. The goal is to make them vertical for specific sectors where the problem is homogeneous enough to configure, not rewrite.
System integration. Our historical competence, connecting systems, making CRM and ERP talk, building custom middleware, becomes even more strategic in an era where every company has five AI tools to integrate with each other. Those who know how to build bridges between systems are more useful than ever.
Internationalization. Since 2010 we have operated in Italy. The European market, and in particular Spain and EU markets with similar regulation, is the natural next step. Not random diversification, but expansion on homogeneous regulatory ground where our positioning on compliance and data sovereignty makes immediate sense.
Why we write these things
Because a vision that stays internal is only half done.
The best clients choose who to work with also based on where their counterpart is heading. The best partners recognize each other when they understand the direction.
From Ferrara to Milan since 2015, from a single software house to a product ecosystem for European business innovation: that is the trajectory. We are curious to see where it intersects with yours.
